As we evolved as a human being ,our food had been also evolved with it.
With the influence of different cultural new dishes had been innovated.
But today we will be sharing with you one of my favorite dish which is Dal Bhujia , which is dry curry.
Which had been pass on to me from my mother in law.This dish healthy and Tasty too.
We prepare is easy three steps
  1. Prepare ingredients .
  2. Preparing curry.
  3. Garnish and Serve.


Ingredients:
  1. Methi (1 bunch)(Menthe/Fenugreek )
  2. Yellow Moong dal (1/4 cup)
  3. Onion (1)
  4. Ginger (one Pinch)
  5. Garlic ( 5-6 cloves)
  6. Turmeric Powder 1/2 tbsp
  7. Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp
  8. Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  9. Garam Masala 1/4 tbsp
  10. Salt to taste

Preparation Method
Step 1. Prepare ingredients
  1. Chop Onion.
  2. Chop Garlic.
  3. Chop Ginger.
  4. Soaked Yellow Moong Dal 10-15 minutes.
Step 2 Preparing Curry
  1. Take a pan put Little oil in it.
  2. Add Garlic.
  3. Add Ginger.
  4. Add Chopped onion.
  5. Add Turmeric Powder.
  6. Add Red Chili Powder.
  7. Add Coriander Powder.
  8. Add Garam Masala
  9. And then stir it for 2 minutes.
  10. Add soaked dal in it.
  11. Add water and cover with a lid and allow it to cook for 5 minutes.
  12. After 5 minutes add chopped Methi/Fenugreek  in it .
  13. And add salt
  14. Allow it to cook for 15-20 minutes,so Methi /Fenugreek bitterness will go.

Step 3  Garnish And Server
  1. Garnish
  2. Now Serve






Some Tips
  1. Soak Moong dal in water for 15-20 minutes so that it will not remain uncooked .
  2. To reduce bitterness of Methi add salt and allow it to cook for 15-20 minutes
  3. Always have green leaf vegetable and dal in lunch,avoid them to have them in dinner.
  4. Instead of yellow Moong Dal you also use green Moong Dal.
  5. Preparing everything with love.

Methi or fenugreek is a rich reservoir of medicinal properties that imparts many health benefits why you should include Methi in your diet more often.
Lowers blood cholesterol– They are known to prevent the absorption of cholesterol and triglycerides.

It also contains high amount of potassium that counters the action of sodium to help control heart rate and blood pressure.

Radish and Tomato Salad

Time to have quick and healthy salad.
Simple steps
1. Mix all ingredients.
2. Garnish for serve.




Ingredients:

Radish (2-3)
Tomato (1-2)
Red chili (2-3 small)
Lemon 1
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste

Preparation Method:
Step1-Mixing


1.Take a mixing bowl 
2.Add grated Radish.
3.Add grated tomato.
4.Add chopped red chilies/ green chili mix it.
5.Add lemon juice 
6.And salt and mix it well.

Step2- Garnish
  1. Garnish it with coriander leaves.





Some tips
1. Always create this salad 10 minutes earlier when we need to serve.
2. Please have this salad in afternoon.
3. This salad is cold in nature avoid having this salad in winter season.
4. Try to have with heavy food to reduce impact.

Coriander Chutney/Dhania Chutney

Time for chutney now.
Chutney is usually  is a spice, sauce or preparation that is added to food to impart a particular flavor, associated with Indian cuisine and also it’s flavors work well with recipes from many other cultures.
You would be able to enjoy it with any India and western dish.
With little twist you can also enjoy this chutney even in fast/vrat.


After preparing it you can even preserve in refrigerator and used as spread any kind of dishes.

We can use this preserved chutney max 6-7 days.

We will preparing chutney in simple two steps
1.Preparing ingredients.
2.Serve it.









Ingredients:

1. Coriander Leaves (a bunch).
2. Sendha Namak to taste(Rock Salt).
3. Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp.
4, Add Green Chili

Preparation Method:

1.Take a jar and
2. Add Coriander.
3. Add Sendha Namak.
4. Add Green Chili
5. Add Cumin seeds.  
6.Then grind it nicely.

 ready to serve



Some Tips
1. You can add lemon juice to the chutney , but you can preserve it for max 2-3 Days.
2. Always use fresh and organic Coriander leaves it will make food more tasty.

Sabudana/Shaabakki/Sago Vada/Tikkia

As we are moving into months of fasting.Let us make Sabudana Vada with a healthy twist.
People can have this dish while they are fasting.
Sabudana Vada is one of those recipes that is made during religious fasting/vrat/upvas.
People during the fast do not eat onions, garlic, wheat products,lentils or pulses. 
You can also enjoy as snacks.
You will majorly find this dish in Maharastra but now you easily find this dish through out India but not as easily available in Maharastra .
Sabudana Vada is general served sweet curd /yogurt but we will serve it with
Coriander Chutney/Dhania Chutney.

We will preparing in simple  steps
1.  Soaked Sabudana.
2.  Mix it
3.  Make Vada
4.  Cooking of Vada
5.  Serve it.





Ingredients:

1. Sabudana(sago/Shaabakki) 150 gm-(Soaked in normal water for4-5 hours or overnight)
2. Potato (4 boiled)
3. Peanut (crushed 50 gm)
4. Ginger (2 inch grat
5. Green chili (2-3 chopped)
6. Lemon juice 2 tbsp
7. Coriander leaves (1/3 cup chopped)
8. Cumin seeds (1/2 tbsp)
9. Cooking oil 
10. Sendha namak 1/2 tbsp/ as per taste(Rock Salt)
11. Curd 



Preparation Method:

Step 1  Soaked Sabudana
1. Soak the Sabudana or sago in water for 1/2 hours .
2. Drain  water completely from the soaked Sabudana and let it rest for overnight ,in morning they  will become very soft .
3. Now we are ready to prepare Vada.

Step 2  Mix it

1. Grate/Mash the boiled Potatoes in a bowl.
2. Add Soaked sabudana/sago  in potato.
3. Add Crushed peanuts.
4. Add Green chili chopped.
5. Add Coriander Leafs.
6. Add Sendha Namak.
7. Add Cumin Seeds.
8. Add Lemon Juice.
9. Then mix it well.


Step 3  Form Vada

1. Take small portion of mixture.
2. Roll it into ball shape.
3. Repeat the process to make vada from remaining mixture.



Step 4  Cooking of Vada

1. Heat a appam pen on low flame.
2. Apply few drops of oil in each moulds.
3. Put the vada balls in all the moulds.
4. Reduce the flame to low and cover the pan.
5. After 3-4 minutes flip it .
6. Apply few drops of oil if needed.
7. Cover the pan and cook it until it is evenly cooked from all sides,keep flipping/rotating in between Open the lid and flip the vadas.
8. Cover the pan and cook it for another 2-3 minute on low flame.
9. Open the lid and check it.
10. Turn off the flame,take it out in a plate.

Sabudana Vadas are ready to serve.

Serve hot with green chutney or Curd. 



Some Tips
1. You can also deep fry the sabudana vada but try our healthy twist, to fry the sabudana vada use  appam maker 
2. You reduce adding lemon juice if you are adding lemon in dips/chutneys  which you will be serving with vada.
3. Please serve it hot and enjoy the taste.
4. Prepare it with love .
